The major is set up to meet the finance industry’s demand for graduates with strong quantitative and analytical skills who have the potential to become leaders in the finance industry. Graduates are equipped with sound financial modeling and forecasting skills, and are ideally suited to positions and tasks that require strong quantitative and analytical skills such as valuation, portfolio analysis, asset allocation, credit analysis, risk modeling, and structured finance. The major also provides a good foundation for careers in investment banking, commercial and corporate banking and financial services.
