The Joint Workshop organized by the CUHK(SZ) and Economic Fluctuation and Growth (EFG) will be held on May 30, 2024, in Shenzhen, China.

The workshop aims to provide a platform for intellectual exchange and collaboration among scholars and practitioners interested in various aspects of economics. With a focus on the themes of "Expectations, Information Frictions, and Economic Policy," the workshop will delve into the intricate dynamics of these topics and explore their implications for macroeconomics, finance, microeconomics, and econometrics.

It will be a one-day workshop featuring two keynote speakers: Olivier Coibion (University of Texas, Austin) and Michael Weber (University of Chicago, Booth School of Business). We welcome contributions in all areas related to the theme of the workshop.
