A general education course on “Smart Cities” in college piqued my interest in educational technology. It brought me in-depth insights into practical applications of technology in various fields (government, transportation, education and health). In particular, the visit organized by the University to the Longgang Smart City Operations Management Center, the first batch of smart city pilot projects of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, led me to truly experience the warmth and positive power of social advancements brought by technology.
In the 48-hour finals of the 7th Global Competition on Design for Future Education, our team continued to turn the idea of smart education into reality, gradually improved the project, and finally won the bronze award. It marked an important attempt for me in the integration of education and technology. The exchanges with other teams also opened more possibilities for me in educational technology and strengthened my confidence to continue exploring.
