Global TOP10! SME Students Chalked up Records in Paris, France!
Days ago, the L’Oréal BRANDSTORM 2023 (Global Finals) came to a conclusion after fierce competition in Paris, France. After winning the second prize in the national finals, the China Partner team composed of Jiang Hao and Zhang Liheng, students from the School of Management and Economics (SME) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen) and Li Shiwen from Jinan University representing Chinese mainland staged on the world arena and ranked Global TOP10 in the global finals.
China Partner is a special team with members from different schools. The three members were middle school and high school classmates for six years, so they made a great team in the business competition, with a tacit understanding between each other. The creative idea conception and streamlined PPT production by Li Shiwen, meticulous implementation and exquisite 3D modeling by Zhang Liheng, and skillful communication and exquisite presentation by Jiang Hao are perfect examples of their collective hard core strength. In addition, they trusted each other, understood and promoted each other. They dared to express their opinions, and listened carefully to the ideas of others. In such a concerted team that worked together in a harmonious atmosphere, on the one hand, they advanced the progress with high efficiency, and on the other, enjoying the pure joy of the game, engrossed in project ideas rather than interpersonal relationships. In addition to enhancing mutual understanding and great teamwork, the members of China Partner also unlocked new skills such as modeling, dubbing, video editing, and animation production in the business competition. It was a rewarding experience for them.

In the past seven years of the L’Oréal BRANDSTORM (national finals), the SME teams championed five times in total. It is a rare experience for the China Partner team to represent the Chinese Mainland in the global finals in Paris, France.
I believe that it was a rewarding experience for every team member of China Partner. On the one hand, they were able to explore in greater depth and actually apply the knowledge learned in the classroom to practice during the competition to gain a new understanding of theory and on the other, they broadened their horizons. They understood better the culture of France after the competition. Meanwhile, they could jump out of the box and overcome their shyness to establish connections with players from other countries/regions.
I think the impressive achievements made by China Partner should be attributed to the great efforts of the team and the support of L’Oréal. I like the three students from the China Partner team very much. They are active, creative, responsible, hardworking, with a strong sense of teamwork, and courageous to explore new areas. They have gained and grown in every training and competition.
Finally, congratulations to the team members of China Partner again on winning Global TOP10! Thank you for your hard work.
