2018 Career Mentorship Program Closing Ceremony and Alumni Reunion was initiated by Career Development Center (CDC) in May. Over the past few months, this program set up a platform for students’ interaction with each other and involvement in professional career. They also have opportunities to broaden their horizons and keep pace with the times.

In order to celebrate this event and express our appreciation for all efforts, CDC and Alumni Affairs Office of the School of Management and Economics (SME) held the Career Mentorship Program Closing Ceremony and Alumni Reunion. Here are remarkable moments at that night.

Opening Greetings

Senior associate dean of SME Michael Ferguson

Prof. Michael Ferguson, senior associate dean of SME, extended his thanks to all professional mentors for their supports and also said that this activity was not an end but a fresh beginning. He encouraged our students to be confident and embrace changes.

Student’s Sharing

Alumni of 2014 class and student of Career Mentorship Program Haodong Zhang

Haodong Zhang, graduate of 2014 class, said that he obtained more cutting-edge information about job market from mentors and he also had opportunity to make friends. This activity was a valuable reunion for alumni as they could share their experiences and gain support and confidence.

Mentor’s Sharing

Deputy General Manager of Zhong Bao Equity Funds Management Mr. Bo Tang

Mr. Bo Tang’s humorous language brought pleasure and delight to the night. Mr. Tang humbly said that while mentors provided limited guidance to students, students had a bright future and might contribute back to mentors in different ways. He highly praised this activity and hoped we could continue to engage in this kind of activity, which was helpful for students to enhance their ability in job market and broaden their minds.
